Looking for Juvéderm? We use the RHA® Collection, a hyaluronic acid filler in the same family. It restores volume and defines the lips, cheeks, jawline and chin. Planned around your face as a whole, so the result still looks like you.

The RHA® Collection is the hyaluronic acid filler family on our Injectables menu. It does the same job as Juvéderm: it restores lost volume, defines contours, and smooths folds in the lips, cheeks, jawline and chin.
*Consultation required.

We get this question a lot. Le Skin Aesthetics uses the RHA® Collection instead of Juvéderm. Both are hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Both treat the same areas, and both can be dissolved if needed. If you came to us looking for Juvéderm, RHA filler is the treatment to book. Your provider will explain the choice at your consultation.
RHA stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid. The RHA® Collection is a line of FDA-approved dermal fillers made by Teoxane in Switzerland. Hyaluronic acid is a substance your skin already produces to hold water and keep tissue plump. RHA filler is made with less chemical modification than many other fillers, so the gel stays closer to the hyaluronic acid in your own skin. That lets it stretch and move with your face instead of sitting stiff in one spot.
The collection includes several formulas with different thicknesses. Some are made for soft areas like the lips and fine lines. Others are made for structure in the cheeks, chin and jawline. Which RHA product we use depends on the area you want to treat and the result you want. Your provider chooses it at your consultation.
RHA and Juvéderm are both hyaluronic acid fillers, so they have more in common than not. The main difference is how the gel is made. RHA filler uses a gentler manufacturing process that preserves longer chains of hyaluronic acid. The result is a gel designed to adapt to facial movement, which is why it is approved for dynamic wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm is a well-known brand with its own range of formulas, and many people search for it by name. If you have had Juvéderm before and liked it, you can expect a similar experience with RHA filler. The injector and the plan matter more than the label on the syringe.
Hyaluronic acid filler is primarily used to restore volume, enhance contours or provide structural support. At Le Skin Aesthetics that includes lip enhancement, cheek filler, jawline enhancement, chin projection, and softening of the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Full-face treatment plans are also available and are built over one or more visits.
We do not treat one feature in isolation. Facial balancing looks at your face as a whole. We evaluate proportions, symmetry, projection, volume and profile to determine which areas, if any, may benefit from treatment. You can see real results in our before-and-after gallery, where every photo is of a Le Skin Aesthetics client.
Injectable treatments are performed by a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner trained in aesthetic medicine. Le Skin Aesthetics was founded by Ericia L. Cannon, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. Treatments are individualized with an emphasis on safety, facial anatomy and natural-looking results.
That is not our goal. We take a conservative, individualized approach to filler with an emphasis on proportion, balance and enhancing your natural features rather than changing the way you look. If you want a subtle change, say so at your consultation. Your plan is built around what natural looks like to you.
All three are on our injectables menu, but they do different jobs. RHA is a hyaluronic acid filler, like Juvéderm. It adds volume and shape right away, and it can be dissolved if needed. Radiesse provides structural support and can also stimulate collagen. Sculptra stimulates your body's own collagen production for gradual improvement over months. If you have read about one of these for a specific area, bring that question to your consultation. Your provider will explain which option fits the area you want to treat.
The amount varies from person to person. Your anatomy, the treatment area, your existing volume and your desired result all influence how much product we recommend. Lips often need one syringe. Cheeks, jawline and full-face plans usually need more. You will never be required to complete your entire treatment plan at once. Many people prefer to start small and build over time.
Your visit begins with a personalized assessment and a conversation about your concerns, medical history, previous treatments and desired results. We discuss appropriate options, expected outcomes, pricing and aftercare before moving forward with treatment.
Same-day treatment is often possible when it is clinically appropriate and appointment time allows. Some treatments need a separate appointment or extra preparation. If you are not sure RHA filler is the right treatment, book a consultation anyway. You do not need to know exactly what product you need.
Please give us an accurate medical history, including medications, supplements, allergies and previous aesthetic treatments. Let us know about upcoming dental work, medical procedures, travel or special events. Do not stop prescribed medications unless the healthcare professional who manages them tells you to.
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur after filler, and the lips tend to swell more than other areas. Most swelling settles within a few days. You receive specific aftercare instructions that explain what is normal and when to contact us. If you are concerned about your recovery at any point, contact us promptly for guidance. Follow-up recommendations vary by treatment, and we tell you when a follow-up visit makes sense.
Yes. Because RHA filler is made from hyaluronic acid, just like Juvéderm, it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if the result is not what you wanted or if a medical reason calls for it. That is one reason many providers recommend hyaluronic acid filler for a first treatment.
Longevity depends on the product, the amount used, the treatment area and your individual metabolism. In clinical studies, RHA filler results in the nasolabial folds lasted up to 15 months. Lips tend to soften sooner because they move so much. Cheek, chin and jawline results often last a year or longer. We discuss realistic expectations with you before treatment, and individual results vary.
Plan ahead rather than booking a new treatment right before an important day. Give yourself at least two weeks for normal swelling or bruising to settle and for your result to develop. Tell us your event date and we can help you build a treatment timeline around it.
Every treatment begins with a personalized consultation to understand your goals and recommend the most appropriate options for you.
